Heimkino in High Definition

Samsung stellt auf der CES 2009 (8. – 11. Januar) in Las Vegas, wieder neue LCD-TV im Ultra Slim Design der B-Serie mit hervorragender LED-Technik vor. Die LED-Hintergrundbeleuchtung spart nicht nur Strom im Betrieb, sondern ergibt auch die Möglichkeit zu einer noch schlankeren Bauweise des kompletten Fernsehers. Das A ist schon vergeben bei Samsung, deswegen kommen Modellnamen der B-Serie mit B6000, B7000 und B8000 im Frühjahr auf den Markt. Die Größen der LCD werden wieder 40”, 46”, 52” und teilweise auch 55″ Zoll sein. Ein Modell mit 42″ Zoll ist, wie bei LCD-TV von Samsung schon üblich, nicht im LCD-Programm vorgesehen.

Die B-Serie wird 2009 mit einer sehr umfangreichen Ausstattung und weiter verbesserten Technik an den Start gehen. Kurz beschrieben: Noch schlanker, weniger Stromverbrauch, noch mehr Kontrast und natürlichere Farben. Und das schon alles (vermutlich) im ersten Halbjahr 2009! Besitzer der gerade erschienenen Samsung Serie 9, wird dieses aber bestimmt nicht erfreuen.

Wie auch immer, die B-Serie bietet eine verbesserte Version von (Auto) Motion Plus mit 100 / 200 Hz (PAL) oder 120 / 240 Hz (NTSC) je nach Modell, Full-HD-Panel mit 1080p (1920 x 1080), DVB-T, TruSurround HD, Dolby Digital Plus, optischer Digital-Audio-Out, das Gehäuse im Ultra Slim Design, 4x HDMI 1.3, LAN mit DLNA, USB WISELINK PRO, Samsung’s Network Wireless, mehr detaillierte Bildeinstellungsmöglichkeiten und noch vieles mehr.

Die Top-Modelle der B-Serie werden über den USB-Anschluss auch Filme im Format: DivX, XviD, MPEG-2/MPEG-4, PS / TS Transport Stream abspielen können, wenn diese in entspreche Audio-/Video-Container wie avi, mp3, mp4, ps oder ts verpackt werden. Zum Beispiel auch HDTV-Aufnahmen mit MPEG-4 AVC / H.264 von einer externen USB-Festplatte oder von einem USB-Stick. Hinzu kommt auch noch die DLNA-Fähigkeit einiger B-Modelle, über den LAN-Anschluss Multimedia-Dateien von einem angeschlossenen PC abspielen zu können. DNLA (Digital Living Network Alliance) macht es möglich. Yahoo- und Flickr-Dienste können in Form von Widgets über das Internet am TV genutzt werden

Bei den S-PVA-Panels von Samsung werden vermutlich 4ms Reaktionszeit erreicht. Die Gehäuse der LED-LCD dürften sich um die 10mm bis knapp 20mm! in der Bautiefe nur bewegen. Ultra Slim!

In Deutschland wird die Bezeichnung der kompletten B-Serie der LCD-TV mit LEXX beginnen und sind mit der 100-/200-HZ-Technik ausgerüstet sein, wegen PAL @ 50Hz hierzulande. Jedoch in Ländern wie den USA, fangen diese wie bekannt, mit LNXX an und laufen mit NTSC @ 60Hz, sind also demzufolge mit 120 / 240Hz ausgerüstet.
