Von Sony wurden die ersten Audio/Video-Receiver mit dem zukünftigen HDMI-Standard 1.4 vorgestellt. Dieser erlaubt neben einem zusätzlichen Audio Return Channel und Ethernet-Channel, auch das Durchschleifen von 3D-Bildsignalen mit einer 3D Pass-Through-Funktion via HDMI-Verbindung. Abwärtskompatibilität ist aber zum älteren HDMI-Standard 1.3 gegeben. Damit setzt Sony voll auf die 3D-Zukunft neben Sony BRAVIA LCD-TV und Blu-ray-Player mit 3D-Unterstützung.


Der Sony STR-DN1010 trumpft im eleganten Design als 7.1-Kanal-Receiver mit kräftigen 110 Watt je Kanal auf. HD-Bildsignale werden an den vier HDMI-Eingängen mit bis zu 1080p aufgenommen und selbst im 3D-Format zu einem geeigneten Fernseher durchgeschliffen.

The STR-DN1010 AV receiver will be available this June for about $500.
